I got these for my marathon as I hate running belts or stashing gels under sleeves. I'm a man but felt the shorter length of the women's shorts would be perfect on race day - and they were! Storage and comfort of these are amazing. Very light weight and obviously you need to have specific underwear underneath! 6 gels were easily stored and did not even feel they were there when running. Have recommended them to my friends as a marathon race short. Guys who like shorter shorts for racing should go with the women's option

To be honest, I was a little bit skeptical before buying them and now that I've used them a couple of times I can only say I wish they a winter version of them because I love them! It's a bit odd the feeling from when your pouch is packed vs later down the race when it has nothing as the upper part feels more loose but you can trust them to stay in place. I got them with the underwear to match and it's just great!

These are amazing shorts! But, I find they’re too short for me and caused chafing. So I bought the men’s and now I have the perfect shorts. If you don’t usually chafe in shorter shorts or can happily wear buns to run, these would work. Otherwise I suggests the men’s which fit great and are a little longer.
