Please note:
- We use Asian sizing. If you have large quads, are looking for a more comfortable fit, or are used to western sizing, consider going up a size. Size guide here.
- Sherpas are designed with no inner liner so pair with our T8 Commandos women's running underwear for a super comfy, guaranteed chafe-free experience. Bundle and use discount code 10FOR2 for 10% off - and both come with our 30-day satisfaction guarantee!
- Ladies looking for a longer short can consider the men's version. We've had some good feedback!
- Pull your Sherpas over your belly button - grandpa style! - then tie the drawstring tight and pull it down over your hips for minimum bounce. Inside and outside slits allow it to be tied inside or outside the waistband.

Women’s Sherpa shorts
These are amazing shorts! But, I find they’re too short for me and caused chafing. So I bought the men’s and now I have the perfect shorts. If you don’t usually chafe in shorter shorts or can happily wear buns to run, these would work. Otherwise I suggests the men’s which fit great and are a little longer.
Not just great for the ladies
Size XL works just fine for me as a 32" waist male; if anything I could've gone slightly smaller. Doesn't sit too high and looks just fine. In fact, they're more proportional for me at 173cm tall.
My favorite pants!
Got the woman's (M) and the men's (S) as I like to have a longer option too. The Woman's (M) is a tiny bit (about 2.5 cm/1inch) wider at the top than the Men's (S), but the stretch of the fabric is very good, so both fit well. In fact, the stretch is very robust too: I first got the Men's (XS), and while it is a size too tight, I can still wear it on top of my winter tights with a 250ml soft flask in front! The woman's is noticeable shorter (about 7cm/2.7 inch shorter) and will be perfect once the weather gets hotter here. The length of the Men's (S) is just perfect. The fabric is very nice and soft to the skin, doesn't flare out and when running in light rain, it falls of in beads. I find the longer version comfy in 10C/50F weather too. Their 250ml Sherpa flasks fit well in both front and side pockets, so most long runs are now without a vest. On sizing: my waist just falls on the highest end of the available size and learning form the Men's (XS) I would advise to go for a larger size bracket if this is the case and you like to have a wider fit at the waist (so Woman's M and Men's S). 100% recommend T8!
