best carry for a short run; fit the T8 sherpa perfectly. just so very nice.
The new Sherpa flask is just the right size at 330ml to store in a compartment in one's Sherpa shorts. The bottles have the following features that I like (having used a variety of brands and designs): - The ridged edges of the bottle tops are nice and make the bottles easy to open - The mouth size of the bottle is in between that of the small Salomon bottles and the wide mouth ones. I find the wide mouth bottles do not sit well in the waist band but the small mouth bottles are too small. This bottle has a perfect mouth size - The flask design has no sharp edges, which has proved an issue in the past. Using 2 or 3 bottles allows for excellent weight distribution around a belt.
Have been looking for a soft flask that fits better in the Sherpas than the usual 500ml ones. T8 heard us and made it happen! And guess what it comes in shocking bright pink! Talk about running in style! Aesthetic aside. These babies really fits very well in Sherpas and running belts like the Naked band. I have done a fair bit of experiments on both and it works perfect! No bouncing even when it's fully loaded up and you don't have to worry about leaking. The tips are well made and doesn't leak like alot of the other similar products on the market. Trust me I am really rough with my gears. I bite hard! Another thing T8 nailed with this one is the rounded base of the flasks. I have personal experiences with flasks that have sharp edges. This type of design usually have pretty bad leaking issues. But you don't have to worry a thing with the Sherpa flasks. One more thing is I can know fit up to three Sherpa flasks in my Sherpa shorts which increases the carrying capacity tremendously compared to the max two usual 500ml flasks.
Finally, a soft flask that fits my Sherpa Shorts perfectly...what took you guys so long?? Pink is not usually my colour but this Sherpa Flask looks and feel fantastic. It's very sharp and has attracted quite a few admiring comments already. As you'd expect from any T8 product it is really well constructed of high quality materials and they've paid attention to every detail to make it the most comfortable and easy to use soft flask I've tried ( and I've had a few). They've thought of everything. The bite valve felt good and the opening proved big enough for me to pour my Tailwind powder in the bottle without spilling it everywhere. It's even got ridges on the cap which made it very easy to unscrew. Best of all I was able to carry one in the front of my shorts and one in the back with no bouncing around and they never leaked which is always an embarrassing thing to try and explain! I definitely recommend that you try one or two of these T8 Sherpa Flasks...once you go pink you'll never go back.
